THE EVENT

The Moto Grand Prix of Qatar is hosted by the modern Losail International Circuit, located on the outskirts of Doha, the capital city of Qatar. This event is the only night race on the MotoGP calendar and has established itself as one of the most spectacular on the MotoGP calendar.

This flowing 5,4 km circuit features a long straight of just over 1 km, with a good mix of medium and high speed corners making it particular challenging for new drivers, which is further complicated by the fact that it is a night race.

Being the first race on the 2012 calendar this event will offer you the first opportunity to experience the return to the big 1000cc engines to MotoGP

OUR TOUR PACKAGE

For the 2012 MotoGP of Qatar we can offer you an exciting travel package, featuring a great 5 star beach hotel just outside Doha. Located about a 10 minute drive from the city centre, the hotel features a variety of restaurants and bars, offering International cuisine, seafood specialties and a Belgian Beer Cafe. This very popular hotel also boasts a fitness centre, large outside swimming pool and beautiful beach from where a full range of and water sports activities are avaialble.

Our ground staff will take care of you from the moment you land in Doha - we (optionally) collect you from the airport; and take you to the hotel where you will spend 3 nights with breakfast. On Friday night you will have the opportunity to meet the rest of the tour group at our opening party at the circuit, inclusive of a sumptuous buffet, soft drinks and also featuring a top guest speaker from the paddock!

Saturday we do an optional city tour and Dhow cruise around the harbour and of course take you to the circuit and back for qualifying. Sunday is a good time for bargain hunting and shopping in the local Souqs and in the afternoon we take you up for the big race! Finally, join us for a closing drink or 3 after the night race Sunday!
